Hours to minute conversion on Navitimer slide rule

Some models of the navitimer have a Hours to minute conversion scale : this scale is not very well known by owners : here is the principle :

Hours in minutes with the scale : look at the "hour scale" (1:10 - 9:00) on the exemple here 3:00 and 4:30 then look to the direct opposite number on the calculation scale (the black one) :

in front of 3:00 you see 18 : mean 3hours and 30 minutes = 180 minutes

in front of 4:30 you see 27 : mean 4 hours and 30 minutes = 270 minutes
